Firstly, I begin this letter by stating that my heart goes out to the innocent people of Nepal who have been affected by the lethal violence against anti-corruption protesters.

Also, I may take a step back from writing here, as for now I am still a student and fully caught up in the chaos of the new semester. But rest assured, I am not only being alive but (finally) beginning to learn the very basics of guitar.
Finally, our nation was built on and continues to exist through political violence. The food we eat, the clothes we wear, the devices we are both using to post and read this article— political violence.
